Back Wrap Cross Carry with Chest Belt
Instructions for BWCC w/CB (Back Wrap Cross Carry with Chest Belt)
Back wrap cross carry is an extremely supportive back carry, with three layers of fabric over baby and the straps going under and then over your shoulders for amazing comfort. Back wrap cross carry does require alot of steps and can therefore be a challenge to learn and perfect, but when it’s right it’s awesome for long carries. It also situates baby low on your back, rather than up by your shoulders, and so it is not right for all situations, but it is a lovely carry to wear a sleeping baby in.
In this BWCC variation, a chest belt is used. If your baby is wiggly, a chest belt may be helpful as it secures baby to your back early on in the wrapping.
In these instructions, baby is 8 months and the wrap is a Didymos Lind Waves 4.7m.
First, assemble your tools.
Find the middle of the wrap.
Put the wrap on baby’s back and get baby onto your back.

This is my favorite carry for our newborn, becuase it makes me feel so secure when wrapping her. The chestbelt gives that extra security, love it! Thanks for the tutorial!
