Jordan’s Back Carry with 2 Rebozo Passes
Instructions for JBC2R (Jordan’s Back Carry with 2 Rebozo Passes)
This carry is a variation on the original JBC. If you find that you feel a little lopsided in a JBC because there is one rebozo pass and one cross piece (so under one leg and over the other), then this is one option for fixing that. In this version, both passes are rebozo passes and go over baby’s legs.

In these intructions, baby is 7 months and the wrap is a Didymos Blue/White Indio 4.7m.
First, assemble your tools.
Find the middle of your wrap.
Put the wrap on baby’s back.
Now get baby onto your back.
Scoot baby high up on your back.
Take one side of the wrap over your shoulder, tighten really well, and tuck it between your legs.
Make sure baby is in a good deep pouch seat.
Bring the other side of the wrap over baby’s leg and under your arm (like in a Rebozo Back Carry), and tighten.
Bring the wrap back over your shoulder.
Spread wrap across baby’s back.
In the original JBC, this pass across baby’s back would get tucked under baby’s leg, but here we are going to bring it over baby’s leg, the same as the first pass, tighten well, and bring to the front.
Tuck that strap between your legs and grab the other strap coming over your shoulder.
Grab what will be the top rail, and bring it around to the back, spreading the fabric out.
Take that pass straight across baby’s back, tighten well, and bring to the front.
Tie knot.
All done!
Other side.
Happy wrapped baby!
