Short Cross Carry Video
Video instructions for the SCC (Short Cross Carry)
Short Cross Carry is a great carry if you’re using a medium length wrap and want to be able to pop baby in and out of the wrap without untying.
We also have photo instructions for Short Cross Carry.
In these instructions, baby is 7 months, and the wrap is a Didymos Red Waves, 3.7m.

Hi
I really liked your site…
Could you help me identify which carry style will be most suitable for a 2 month old ?
Thanks
Preeti
Hello! Most front and back carries can be adapted to work with a tiny baby. The main thing is to make sure baby’s head is supported and that baby’s airway is always clear (make sure the wrap fabric isn’t over baby’s face, make sure baby’s chin isn’t pressed to her chest, check on her frequently to make sure she’s breathing freely). If you are a new wrapper, I wouldn’t suggest trying to start out with a back carry with a 2 month old. It is possible to carry a tiny baby that way, but it’s considerably trickier than a front carry. I would suggest you start with either a Front Wrap Cross Carry or a Kangaroo Carry. Both of those are very secure and supportive. Hope this helps!
